Planning a trip to see a Broadway Show

Broadway shows are such a delightful treat that many people plan an entire vacation around one. When planning your trip the first thing you want to consider is how early you should buy your tickets. If you want prime seats or it’s a very popular show, especially for a Saturday evening performance, you may want to buy tickets as much as two months early. A few weeks in advance is usually good for most shows, but sometimes you can even purchase tickets the same day. It just depends on the popularity of the show.

If you are able to, you may want to take in more than one show. A good rule to follow is to book as early as you can. That way you’re guaranteed a ticket and hopefully a great seat as well.

You have to eat and sleep while you’re in town so the next step is to make sure you have lodging close to the theater. Your experience will much more relaxing if you are close to where you need to be and don’t have to worry about how you’re going to get around. Make your trip an experience to remember. Take in as many shows as you can, enjoy a nice hotel stay, and plan where you want to eat ahead of time too. This way you’ll arrive at the theater relaxed and ready to take in the highlight of your trip.
